Student Advisory Council

Mission:  The mission of the Department of Social Sciences Student Advisory Committee will be to encourage innovative action within the department that represents the voices of the students.  The committee is intended as a standing body in the Social Sciences Department.  Advisory to the Department Chair, the committee identifies and communicates needs and strengths of the department and provides feedback on contemporary issues and new initiatives.

Meetings are held the first Thursday 9:30 - 10:30 AM of each month throughout the academic year.  Meetings are open to all Sociology, Anthropology, and Geography majors and minors.
