Internship Job Description

The Jail Programs Unit exists to provide county jail inmates with programs and services designed to reduce their likelihood to recidivate. The Jail Programs Unit works with numerous community based and governmental agencies to provide linkages after release. 

The JPU intern will be responsible for:

• Data entry tasks and collecting inmate information
• Creating and editing PowerPoint presentations
• Creating and editing Excel Spreadsheets
• Creating inmate files and insuring all files are in order
• Providing inmates with community resources
• Creating flyers
• Entering the jail facility to perform various administrative tasks
