SOCS Department Career Expo

Tuesday, January 12th from 10AM - 2PM

Flyer with Zoom Links

The Social Sciences Career Expo is an opportunity for students to not only access possible internship and job opportunities, but also to simply learn more about potential job opportunities in the Social Sciences fields. Most of these sessions are structured for one-on-one networking with professionals. Upon entering Zoom, students will tell the moderator which employer(s) they'd like to speak with; next, they'll be placed in a Zoom breakout room with that employer to introduce themselves, ask career-related questions, etc. The "Careers in GIS" session at 11am will be structured a bit differently; this one will be a group Q&A with GIS professionals and enthusiasts. Each session throughout the day is open to all students to attend. Students are encouraged to drop into one session... or all! Different employers are available at different times of day, so be sure to check out the schedule in advance.
