Internship Job Description

Work under the supervision and assist the Department's cultural resource specialists (prehistoric and historic archaeology and architectural history) in the development and preparation of technical reports, field studies and database management.  The intern would also be responsible for managing and organizing the cultural resource records file room.  Opportunities to work in GIS in support of technical reports.

Training Offered

The internship is considered on-the-job training.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Other Requirements

Preferable to have some college coursework in anthropology, archaeology, history and GIS.

6-10

Flexible Hours (Evenings, Weekend) 

No

Preferred Work Schedule 

Flexible within 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. work schedule.
