Carolyn Dentler Wins Outstanding Career Achievement Award
Administrative Support Coordinator, Carolyn Dentler, was given the College of Liberal Arts’ Staff Outstanding Career Achievement Award in June.
Dentler joined the Cal Poly Social Sciences Department in 2006, following a stellar 10-year career at California State University in Humboldt. She was recognized for her outstanding efforts in facilitating the creation of the department’s two majors and more specifically for her efficiency, professionalism and work ethic.
While presenting the award to Dentler, College of Liberal Arts’ Dean Doug Epperson read from her nominators’ comments that she excels in every aspect of her job, her work ethic is unmatched, she tackles every task competently and efficiently, and she is always friendly and helpful with every single student and faculty member. All of the faculty contributed to the award nomination, and all were pleased that Dentler received the well-deserved recognition.
